Om het festival spectaculair af te trappen, beginnen we vrijdagavond met de Best Trick Battle. De BTB is zowel show als competitie, en gebaseerd op de Diabolo battles die gehouden zijn op verschillende Europese festivals. Maar deze keer kan elke discipline meedoen!
Bij binnenkomst op het festival kan iedereen zich opgeven die mee wil doen. Om half 10 zal (na een eventuele voorronde) een afvalrace beginnen, waarbij twee deelnemers tegenover elkaar komen te staan en er maar één door kan naar de volgende ronde! De deelnemers hebben twee rondes van 45 seconde om hun beste trucs te laten zien, en hun tegenstander af te troeven. De jury zal niet alleen letten op het niveau van de trucs, maar ook op de show die de deelnemer neerzet, en hoe hij/zij speelt met het publiek. Met nieuwe trucs of combinaties in elke ronde, zullen ze strijden om eeuwige roem en de “Best Trick Battle 2020” beker. Zorg dat je erbij bent, het belooft een spektakel te worden!
To spectacularly kick off the festival, we will start on Friday evening with the Best Trick Battle. The BTB is both a show and a competition, and based on the Diabolo battles hosted on EJC’s and other festivals. But this time, every discipline can participate!
On arrival at the festival, everyone who wants to participate can sign up. At 21.30 (after a potential qualification round) a knockout race will start, in which two participants will face each other and only one can continue to the next round! The participants have two rounds of 45 seconds to show their best tricks, and outdo their competitor. The judges will not only take the level of the tricks into account, but also the show the participant creates, and how they play the audience. With new tricks or sequences in each round, the participants will fight for eternal fame and the “Best Trick Battle 2020” trophy. Make sure to be at this spectacle!
